Blog idea

After starting my Masters in Communication at University of London, my interest in human psychology and philosophy grew, too many questions arisen that in great need of resolution and answering. In order to keep track and a better organization of my millions of thoughts, ideas and finding, this blog wanted to be created. I will keep on posting useful books, ideas, and also will keep the record of my development and working towards my dream phd.

I am still researching and building up my knowledge on various areas of Communication, it is mostly because I am still in the process of trying to understand what interests me the most, which areas are least developed and where my contribution will be needed and appreciated the most, where my unique life and academic experience and knowledge can be applied to. I would like to find something that can be used to help the world to choose a better direction, why not a possible change the course of history. I have too much energy that have to be used in some way, I was trapped for a while because of my own reserved personality and it took me a while to learn how to balance my balance my past, my present and future.

I had and immense interest in Arts since I was a little girl (attending Art Galleries, theatre, Art School all contributed and developed further my passions over the years), and then the sudden move to a completely different environment and culture that changed my world view and my personal perceptions forever. Without realizing it then, I survived the culture shock that at the same time taught me to analyse and see different cultures and people from a completely different point of view.

The current course and the literature, articles and research works that I read throughout my academic year started answering many of my questions that I had for the last 10 years, it also made me realize how unique my experience is. I started questioning the current art, design and graphics scene, it made me see it from a completely different point of view that I will try and explain later; the political world, history, intercultural behaviour, people of the world, their thinking. Too many questions to answer, too many types of literature to go through and analyse and this blog will help me in doing so.

So let's start...

Cultural Memory and Cultural Politics is my current interest and next few posts will be on this subject, recording interesting sites, books and journals that I found, writing critics and arguing the authors. My thoughts on current issues, art scene, people who surround me.
